I just picked up an 2009 ML350 with premium about three weeks ago, and this was a concern of mine as usually for April they come out with new rates, programs etc...but as the sales manager told me, even if Mercedes came out with lower interest rates, then they would also lower the residual percentage, therefore, nothing really gained, so I dont know if there would be a big savings or not, though I could be wrong. The residual would of course drop through out the year as the vehicles become older.

Im in toronto and my 525xi lease is almost over, i would like to switch to an ML350 or ML550. I want something with more power, but not too sure if the ML550 is too powerfull, as it's just for the wife to take the kids to school and do grocery + a little more sportier car for me to drive. the 2007 525xi feels like it lacks a bit of power with only 210hp. Is ML350 enough or should i go with ML550? And do you mind telling me how much you are paying for your ML350?

That was the exact same predicament I was in, the lease on my wifes 2007 525i was up and needed more space for the baby and another on the way, so I leased her a 09 ML350 for like you, groceries, kids etc. I know the difference in price between the ML350 and ML550 was quite a bit, I felt for her the 350 was enough as I had the "car with *****" already. No need for another big guzzling V8 in the family. I found the ML350 is plenty, I have zero complaints and the torque is more than the BMW we had, so it does feel more powerful. Overall, very happy with the features this comes with, I priced an comparably equipped 09 BMW X5 and they were way off, so this was the best deal between the germans (Audi Q7). If you want to get a lease number PM me and I will share you my details.
