This Morning car did not unlock!!!!!!!!!!
call road Side ***.
DEAD BATTERY ....... No warning on the Display !!!!!
My wife is pretty upset.
6 months ownership, twice in Morning disapointments.
So much for so little

Is it a 08???? if so there is a DTB for this... there are two things that cause the dead batt
1st is a malfucting scm steering colum module which causes a draw.. and also a incorrect software in the rear sam.

If you were driving and the alternator stopped charging or couldn't charge suffiently then you'll get a warning.
If the battery has discharged for whatever reason while it has been parked for whatever length of time, and you open the vehilce with the mechanical key, there is no way that any display can be given to indicate this..........there is no power supply!
I'm not questioning why the battery went flat, that's a job for you're local dealer to determine. I'm questioning the unreasonable expectations of the vehilce by the owner to indicate that the battery is totally discharged.
