The real surprise will be finding out it was probably built from that batch of 550's mentioned in post #28 back in July!!!
I was really hoping to see it built by a fellow forum member, and where the hidden secret note would be placed.
Been watching this thread and waiting with baited breath just like you Sosh. Congrats, and hope you enjoy the "air" ride.

I believe that paper is in my locker at work because its not on my desk here at home. I either put the doors on it, put the hardmarks on the back or put the lower liftgate trim in it.

Good Luck!! I hope you have the same degree of satisfaction that I have. I love this new color (Steel Gray) Like many of the MB colors it looks different in different light conditions. Mine sometimes looks Black, sometimes Blue and sometimes Charcoal. The rasberry and pewter pin stripes really set it off. Of course the black leather interior shows every spec of dust!

So far so good.......The finest M-Class l've owned....Quality is top-notch...This is why l own a "Benz".. Keep up the great work !!!!! l hope you guys win J.D. Power for this one !!!!!!!! Remember everyone..l say this modestly, l could have owned a 2010 Lexus RX350 for $10,000 less,(employee discount) but l chose a M-Class......"Enough said !!!!!"

There is a production order number on the crossmember that runs under the oil pan on the engine. Its on a black label that also has two other codes on it. If you PM me that 8 digit number I can probably tell ya what I installed on the vehicle and when.

l hate to be negative about the product l help produce, but it is way too much of a "chick truck"....The baby blue color is sickening.....Heck..l love the fact the the RX's rear seat reclines....l don't know why MB hasn't implemented this...l also like how the rear DVD monitor is actually part of the rear seat...the M-Class one is a after thought....But as the saying goes.."Lexus makes cars for passengers...Mercedes makes cars for drivers"
