Newby Question...
Hello... My name is Elias….
New to the forum so I apologise if this is a newbie question. I am in the process of purchasing a 2005 ml350 w164. Although listed as a 2005 model it has the updated 2006s model appearance. How is this possible, I thought the new range of MLs weren’t released until 2006? Also could anyone tell me if the 2005 models are compatible with an I pod? The link below is the ml I am buying pending a pre purchase inspection from Merc.

thankyou found the answer for anyone else whos intrested... The redesigned M-class (chassis name W164) was introduced in April 2005 as a 2006 model after a showing at the North American International Auto Show in January._wikipedia...
now to work out if it works with the iphone..

ok i have another question the car which i am looking at dosent seem to have a color display. is it possible to retrofit one of the newer command units with navigation into it or should i just look at some other cars?
