Watching DVD while car is moving...
I have an 09 ML550 and wants to know how to disable the front dvd player to it plays while the car is in motion???
I know its a safety thing but i wont be watching...its for the passenger i swear!!!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
( got an 8 hr trip coming up and would be nice for my wife to watch something)
Also if Im getting little chips on the hood about the size of a capital "O" is there anyway to cover them up besides painting the whole hood???
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Re the paint, the only way to correct the paint chips is to have the entire hood painted. By touching up the chips which by your description are large, they will be quite noticeable.
Re the DVD, I do not believe that there is a way to disable the in motion shut down and it should not be done. If you have the rear seat player have her sit in the back.

This forum should really not be the place to engage in a conspiracy to illegally defeat a safety system.
But, if you find out how to do it elsewhere, be sure to advise your insurance company.
