I'm looking to pick up an 07+ ML variant and I want to know when OEM bluetooth was an available option? I'm not talking about the kits you have to buy but the integrated one like you would find on say a X5.

2011 BMW X5d, 2011 Nissan Leaf and Kubota L39 Tractor!
I believe on the pre 09 cars if you ordered P1 or P2 you got the wiring for the puck pre-installed so it was plug and play. If you didn't order P1/P2 it's a lot more difficult to get bluetooth as you need the puck and to run the wires so there is a place to plug the puck into.

MBWorld Fanatic!
It can be retrofitted, but I'd look for an ML with it factory installed.
Observe the connector in this photo--this is what you are looking for.
The "puck" is the item on the right.
Dealer retrofit could run $1500.
