Some Newbie Questions
Hi everyone,
I've been reading these forums for quite a while now and I'm glad to finally be a part of them. I had a couple of questions that the dealership nor a search could solve.
A) Sometimes after a long day and a lot of driving, I can hear a light, rather faint tapping noise coming from the engine. Usually this doesn't happen, but after a day of 50+ mile driving (especially on a hot day), this sound pops up. Is this something I have to worry about?
B) We walked into the dealership to get the Service A done, and while we were at it, I asked them about getting an OEM xenon retrofit. The quote was $3000--not cool. They told us about getting a Sylvania SilverStar installed, but I'm looking at Philips' CrystalVision Ultra. OK, so I ask the dealer about that, how it will affect the warranty, etc. They say that the warranty will be void only if "the light harness is burned out." What does that mean, and is it worth the risk?
