2010 ML350 4Matic
Successfully installed OEM LED Tail Lights
For those with 2010 ML's and without the lighting package, you can successfully retrofit OEM LED tail lights.

- Simple plug and play
- No need to reprogram the SAM
- No warning lights on the dash

US Part numbers:
1648203064
1648202964

Approx $300 each, but I was able to find a set on eBay for $350.

Very easy install - approx. 30 mins

Totally worth the upgrade! I'll post pictures later tonight.

you sure they're OEM? i've heard you do need to reprogram the SAM. makes me think maybe yours have resistors

I thought the 2010 had OEM LED tail lights... are you referring to MLs that don't have it?

2009's.....because as mentioned..2010's have LED tail lights, or at least mine does......

LED tail lights are standard on the ML63 and available on all other MLs when the lighting package is ordered, a $970 option.

That's right, the optional lighting package includes hid's and led tails. I wanted the lighting package, but I couldn't find one by me. The led tails really updates the look of the car.

You can, but it will require a trip to the dealer:

Might need to change the rear SAM and recode it.

Oh okay. I have the lighting package on my ML350 so that's why I was confused. I thought they all came with the LED tail lights.

The ones at formymercedes appear to be a little different. In the picture on the website you will note that there is only one row of LED light lit above the turn signal, while the OEM ones have two rows.

OEM's look different than those aftermarket ones. The aftermarket route would be easier and cheaper for your '08 since it might require a new rear SAM and reprogram.
