Intro
Came back to the 3 pointed star after being away about 6 yrs now, my last Benz was a 03 E500 that game me nothing but headaches for the year I had it. Before that I had a C280 Sport, E420 WALD widebody, ML320 WALD widebody, 98 E55, 02 E55, 01 Lorinser CLK vert, ML55, and a few others. I was modding euros before most people got into it. Ive built several Lexus and other Japanese cars. My last big project was a 08 VW R32 that took several NorCal show awards. I was a member here back from the early 00s although have absolutely no idea what my handle was.
Recently picked up a 06 ML350 with command, not sure on the color still, it looks desert silver sometimes and pewter sometimes, the dealers wasn't sure either lol. It has 39k miles on it and got it for $26,500.
I just added some 20" black Demoda Symphony wheels on Parada X AS tires, did the MTEC 6K conversion on the headlights and changed the fogs out for 6K HID as well. Added a Soundstream amp and 2 JL10W3s to the factory HK system. K&N drop-ins and a V1 will go in this week.
I read several threads here and elsewhere that lowering isn't recommended? I lowered my W163 and the ride was decent. Im thinking of doing the H&R + Bilsteins on the W164...? I just think it might look better dropped on 20s. Thought bout going 22s, but I know ride quality will greatly suffer as well as gas mileage so went 20s instead.
