Lease End Buy-Out With MBFS
Wife wishes to purchase her 2008 ML550 at lease end (Oct 2010). Anyone have any success negotiating a lower price then the residual with MBFS?
We tried back in 2005 with her ML500 with no success.
Any other ideas beside working with a dealer to get a lower price?

Dealer has nothing to do with it. You must deal with MBFC. Yes as you get closer to the return date they usually will try to entice you to purchase by lowering the price. You can also make them an offer and see what they say. Its likely they will accept a price somewhere between the wholesale and your residual.
