I have no 3ed row seats, nor does any one else. The message is: "3rd row seat left/right unlatched" It recycles every minute or so. Seems to be tied to brake usage, once on freeway, the message does not appear. It's very annoying in the city and suburbs!! Any help is appreciated.

 

That is strange. No W164 has the 3rd row. Suggest a dealer for this issue and perhaps its a software issue. Maybe the computer is the same as the GL?? That has 3rd row as does the R.

 

Finally broke down and had dealer work on it. Problem was a defective control module located in the right rear passenger side wheel well area.
