Time left parked/unused

From time to time I have seen questions about leaving an ML or other MB vehicle unused and the likelyhood of a dead battery when returning to use. For the record my 2010 ML550 has just sat unused and not started for 7 weeks while I recovered from major surgery. When starting it for the first time after being dormant it started like it had been driven 15 minutes ago. No need for a charger, jump start or battery tender!! This ML and its battery is just about a year old.

Congratulations for your health first, and your battery's health second. LoL.

Hope your recovery from surgery continues to go smoothly. Interesting post as I was on vacation for 2 weeks and my 09 ML350 sat idle the entire time. When I started it, I sensed a bit of hesitation as it started but fired right up.

Thanks for your wishes. 2 weeks should never be an issue. In the past I have left most all my MB's at least 4 weeks with no issues however I was concerned about the 7 week period of time but it all was good with no issues.
