Question windsheild wippers wont work

I just bought a 06 ml350 65k on it 1 week ago yesterday at 5 in the morning wife leaves for work in the rain, turns the wipers on and nothing i found that the 10 amp fuse in back was bad replaced, still nothing looked under hood at th 30 amp it was fine still nothing. closed hood then the came on. she drove it about 4 miles to work noproblem. then this today nothing again. both fuses are fine i checked the plug on the wiper motor and it seems good. the rear works fine also the mister works good but the wipers wont move. Thanks for any help

Could be the switch itself or perhaps the wiper motor. Needs diagnosis to find the correct cause. Guessing here will not help you very much

Theres a switch that detects when the bonnet (hood) is open & cuts power to the wiper motor. On uk model it's located in the offside bonnet catch hole.
Worth spending a few minutes checking the contacts are good on the switch.
