Yes thats correct. I do not recall having them on any of the 4 ML's I have owned and I do recall having them on the 3 E's that I have had. Quite frankly I do not think they are necessary as I have never had a problem adjusting the unlit ones on any of the ML's, even in the darkest night.

It's will be nice if it look like Es, anyway my next project will install 4 thumbwheel back light to look more luxury.
