I have a 06 ml 350 that came with an ipod attacher, I tried using my Itouch and it did not work, so I use my ipod and once I plug it in, I'm unable to select music to play, it just shows the MB symbol and when I unattached the ipod, I notice all my music was erased, what could be the problem

You can only control the ipod from the steering wheel controls once it is attatched....the erased music part, I dont know. I have yet to detatch mine.
