Question Do265 50 20 tire/rims from W163 fit new ML??

I totalled my old2003 ML and had aftermarket rims on it with 265 50 20 tires. I was thinking of using these old rims on my new 2009 ML that I am getting ready to buy and putting snow tires on these rims... Anyone have any input they could share - would that work or are the rims too big?

thanks! gordon

my factory install (albeit optional) tires are 265/45/20. It would seem yours would be just fine.

Great! Bridgestone makes a Blizzak DM-V1 that would fit... anyone have any experience with that tire?

You can do a comparison with your 2009 ML's stock tire size and the 265/50/20 tire you have. If you are within the 3% limit then you should be okay...

Here's a link to the calculator Tire Size calculator
