Can a used chrome key fob reprogram for a 06 ML?
I see on Craiglist they sell a set of USED chrome keys fob for cheap and want to buy/replace a black one I have. But I don't know a dealer want/can reprogram that key.

No, they can't be reprogrammed however you can use the chrome case and transfer your existing circuit board from your black key if it is the same size and shape. The end of the key is the same for all of the smart keys from 2000 on but the keys may be a different shape and size inside. My 2000 key will fit into my '03 and vice versa but won't turn. They are different sizes and shapes so I can't pull the circuit board from the 2000 key and use one of the newer shaped cases.
