rear-ended
rear-ended
grhhhh, what a way to start a day. was on red light waiting for green and got rear ended by nissan pathfinder "boom".
i get out and the front end of nissan was completely messed up with all kinds of liquid leaking and stuff, and there is no damage to the rear end of my ml.
i will still get it checked out by dealer's body shop, do not want to take any chances. but the other driver was surprised that nothing happened to ml, and he had to get his car towed and stuff....!!
this is one of the or the most important reason you buy mb... !!!

Similar accident happened to a friend a few months back. He had a Nissan Xterra (7 years old) and he rear ended another car at a red light. Same scenario as you described. His Nissan was considered a total loss since hood, grill, bumper, both fenders and radiator were damaged (maybe more things). The other car had only small scratches The insurance estimator told him that it is common on Nissans of even a few years old to behave like that because they suffer from major rust problems. He also pointed out the areas that support body panels and even the bumper. They were all rusty! Interesting!
