Snow handling
I trying to get a2009 ml350 my first one but have one major question how does it handle the snow I live In CT we get hit hard up this way. Anyone please help.

Like any sophisticated four-wheel-drive vehicle with decent ground clearance, it handles snow well. With a good set of winter tires, it is unstoppable.

With snow tires the ML is as good as you can get IMO. I live in a long winter environment and know the ML can not be beat for winter driving.

2008 Ml 350, 2000 Ml 430
the older model MLs are so much better than the new models incomparable. my ml430 2000 never ever got stuck in the snow while the ml350 2008 always manages to get stuck and slides like a mad man. the width and weight of the older models makes them so much smoother and safer in the snow. this last winter i barely took out the 350. but again its all up to personal preferences

Disagree. Have had 2 W163's and now 2 W164's and all have been essentially the same in snow.... Excellent. Never got stuck or had any concerns in either model. Most likely your driving technique has deteriorated with the 164's.

I used bridgestone blizzaks, I made threw the whole city.

For those of you who don't know how bad it was. Lake Shore Drive was shut down people had to abandon there cars.
