I'm thinking about getting a used 2008 ML550 for the family. Is there anything I should know before getting this truck or are they good to go?? Are they reliable, etc., etc...

Have had my 2010 ML550 for almost 2 years now. Been bullet proof as was my 06 ML500 and my 02 ML500.

I've had mine for two years. Minor problems with the sunroof, and the battery failed (replaced under warranty), but otherwise excellent. Service costs are unreasonable, but that seems to apply to pretty much any German vehicle.

 

Let us know what you think. I'm picking up the ML550 I just bought in a couple of days. Can't wait.
