2009 ml 350 rear left door lock won't work
So u bought this car and realized the back rear door won't lock. It would sometimes go up butt never lock. I thought for sure it was the actuator. Spent 450 getting new actuator. Like behold it still doesn't work. They now say I need a new front Sam. If it was the sam wouldn't I have more problems than this one lock? Could it be a lose wire? With the new actuator it doesn't even go up at all.

Where is the rear SAM located? I need to replace mine as the rear left door is not unlocking, and the brand new actuator did not fix the problem. My dealer diagnosed the SAM but wanted $1500 for the repair.
