Wheels fitment

Wheels fitment
I'm planning to buy a set of 19" 2010 style ML63 AMG rims of a private seller and have few questions because I'm not familiar when it comes to rims.
I'm currently running 19"(all seasons) stock Mercedes rims and I was wondering if it's possible to just swap my current tires to the AMG rims without any problems?
The seller also mentioned it's "staggered", fronts are 19x8.5 and back is 19x9.5. Can I put my tires on or do I need a to buy new tires? Also are OEM's staggered?

According to the Owners Manual, AMGs have same size wheels and tires all round.
I would be very doubtful about running wider rears. I would certainly check with Mercedes, not just a forum where people may or may not know the correct answer.

I called and one guy said its all the same, other guy said possibly. But anyway, the main point is will my current tires on OEM 19"(same size all around) fit on the 19x8.5(Front) and 19x9.5(rear)??

I totaly agree with you, I have also been told that too much of a stagger could also mess with your ABS.

It's not really the stagger; it's the fact that the overall tire diameters will be different, which results in the speed readings on the ABS sensors to be different.
Plus, when you can easily mount 10"x20" rims/tires, front and rear, on a W164 chassis, why would you need to even consider a staggered fitment? Just askin'

In answer to your question: Because he has been offered a set of staggered wheels!
