It's located under the engine in the space between cylinders 3 and 4. Unlike typical lead acid automotive batteries, it is made with lithium and so fits into a particularly small space. It is underneath the engine to protect it from radiation that emanates from the engine control computer.
Either that or it is under the passenger seat.
