Should Xenon lights be standard equipment?
Hey guys I was wondering with European brands being known for luxury I was thinking should Xenon lights and LED's be standard equipment considering how much you're paying for the car??
I know aftermarket kits don't cost that much or you can buy expensive ones but surely the technology isn't so new that it can't be standard equipment.
I had a quick look at all the Australian websites as I am from there and Lexus was the only one that had them standard and a few other items I would have like on the 2011 M Class my dad just bought. BMW I couldn't find the specs and Audi are charging over $2K just for the lights, a bit over the top IMO.
So what do you guys think?? Is it so new and exclusive that you should pay for them or do you like me think it should be standard?? I believe Lexus are offering full LED with their top models and xenon are standard on all their RX models.
