I'm going to go on a limb and say it's your left bulb that's not working?
Wear a long sleeve shirt, get a stout pair of long nose pliers, disconnect the plug, reach in from the rear and twist. Try not to swear too much.
I think it's one of those things purposely designed to have you go to the dealer. And it's always the left side it seems.

Well, there is no easy way. But, I can tell you that a pair of right angle needle nose pliers will make the jov much easier. You can find that at most auto parts stores. Did mine a few months ago and they look 100% better than stock. Good luck and take your time.

2011 M Class 300CDI
i did it today took me about 40mins with both lights! it was quite easy with long pliers! MUCH MUCH easier with these than doing with your hands. Basically clamp it tight twist it and pull out. What I did was there is a hole just above the headlight and I used a torch so I could see and guide the pliers to the holder.

Also anyone noticed that as soon as you put the lights in you can hear a whirring noise probably the computer trying to figure out if these lamps are right or not. I didn't get any errors and these lamps are from Azn Optics.

Also wanted to ask this doesn't in any way interfere or can damage the onboard computers or any other electronics on the car right????
