2006 ML350
Need Help !!!!!
Hi i have a 2006 ML350 and today my tailgate wont open . All i hear is like the motor running but gate wont open .The right side of the gate would pop like half inch and close back. Tried using the remote , switch on the door and the latch on the liftgate , still no luck. Anyone know why ? Thanks

Could be a problem with the motor that pulls the hatch fully shut. Not uncommon.

You can open it manually:

Anybody know where i can get the latch for cheaper . Dealers want $450 for it . Just want to save a couple bucks Thanks
