What year is your ML? Do you happen to know the part number for the ML63 rear diffuser/apron?

Mine is a 2008. The part number for the lower bumper panel with the quad exhaust cutouts is 164 885 50 25 (at least that's what worked on mine).

What product did you use to polish the tips?

Here's a couple of shots of the parts:

Next step is to haul the trim panel off to the paint shop for painting to match the color. I can't wait to do the install.

I live here in the states (not sure where u r), just wondering about your costs overall? Specifically, the AMG exhaust, as well what type of noise the new exhaust makes? I have and 08 550 too, does it sound close to the 63? How much did u pay for them? Was it am easy swap or did u pay a shop? Added performance with AMG exhaust? I appreciate your response in advance.

Thnx

All in, with the used ML63 mufflers off Craigslist, the new lower rear bumper cover, getting it painted, and miscellaneous hardware to correctly mount the exhaust, I'd guess about $1,500. I personally installed everything, so if you pay someone to do it for you, it will cost more. I haven't heard a stock ML63 exhaust note, but I absolutely love how the exhaust sounds on my ML550.

Where to buy those rims ?

Thanks for your post it is of great reference ! We are trying to make our 350 look like yours with the 20x10 rims on 295 tires, where did you get those rims ?
All we can find are 20x9's
Did you think of 20x10.5 for the back ?

Is the front rubbing at all ?
THANKS!

The rims are genuine MB AMG rims, part number B66031084, in 20x10. I got lucky and found my set, used, on eBay. Because the ML550 is all-wheel drive, it requires the same size tire diameters, front and rear. The 10" rims, with the 295 rubber, is plenty wide and looks great and definitely no rubbing.

That's incorrect. AWD can run a staggered setup as long as both wheels on the same axle are the same (which is a given anyways).

That not's right either. For AWD, the overall tire diameters should be the same, front and rear, and I edited my post above to correct that, since that was what I meant. If the rear wheels are slightly wider, but the tire diameter is the same, that's okay. Since the wheels I bought aren't available in a staggered fitment, it's a moot point for me. Personally, I don't think the ML550 needs the additional understeer a staggered set-up would result in.

Ok we're all on the same page. Overall tire + rim diameter must be the same/ very close to the same as stock but widths can vary.
