Brabus door pin and surround install
Figured the R-class and the M-class are similar vehicles when it comes to the doors so I went ahead and took a chance and bought some Brabus door pins off eBay and installed them. Surprisingly the install went smoothly as was the case with the install by Yang1815 on his R-class, here is that link:

I have a 2008 ML350 so please proceed with caution on your particular ML.
Items used:
- pliers
- small flat head screwdriver
- super glue
Step 1- with pliers grip existing door pins and unscrew them counter-clockwise/left (“lefty loosey”)
Step 2- with screwdriver left around the edge of the existing surrounds and little by little lift until you can get a grip with the pliers to then remove the entire surround
Step 3- take new door pin and screw clockwise/right (“righty tighty”) on the bare pin until only approx 1/2” is sticking out. At this height, when you lock the door it will sit almost flush with the door panel. Screw it down accordingly to your height preference
Step 4- add a few dabs of super glue to new surrounds and install. I used some super glue because the surrounds I had did not fit tight
Tried to upload my pics but was unable to. i will try again after this post....
Enjoy.
