Rear tailgate squeak, Mbrace
Hey guys,
Anyone have a constant rear tailgate area squeak. Over bumps, and you can hear it upon acceleration and braking. I've treated all the door seals several times, looked all over the place--can't find anything. MY2011 March build.
2nd, Q.
Outside of the collision and sat tracking if your car is ripped off, is anyone keeping Mbrace after their trial? Seems extremely expensive for what you get.
TIA.

Try lubricating the latch mechanism on the rear seats, where they lock into the body, shoulder height if seated. A little vasoline and I solved a year's worth of anguish. I swore it was the hatch as well.

Benzo,
Thanks for the info. I lubed up the areas with some Remington Moisturegard Grease. I figured it's good enough for some of my guns, it should work for this. It may be too thick, but we'll see when it get it out for a drive. I also lubed the seat cushion hinges.
