ML320 Glow Plugs and Module

The check engine light is illuminated on my 2007 ML320 Diesel. The code displayed by the machine at the auto parts store (similar to CarMD) shows P0670. P0670 states there is a problem with the glow plug control module or glow plug(s).

Where are the glow plugs located in the engine? Where is the glow plug control module located? Photos would help me the best.

I suspect the GL and E would have them located in the same place because these models share the same engine.

I think you are refering to the glow plug relay.I had the same problem - https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...y-diy-not.html. I never received a response and I ended up getting the unit replaced for $600.00.

Was $600 for the module from the Mercedes dealer without installation labor?

The $600.00 was with installation - from a independent.
