Brake Dash Lights on and off
Recent Problem: ER brake light and Yellow brake pad warning light go on at same time. in addition there is an alarm going off. the alarm sounds 9 times when stopping. this is an intermittent problem.
What could it be?

James, the brake pad warning is self explanatory. You must also check your brake fluid level..

Brake booster new 6/2019. Frt/r pads new 5k ago w/new sensors. brake fluid level good

I'd look at the pad sensors and or replace them. What is "ER brake light? "

ER = emergency or Parking brake, parking brake light on dash panel

If you pull the parking brake release, can you manually lift / pull the pedal?

W/car in park, engine off placed pk brake max position -release it going to full off w/no more slack not able to pull up

So it does retract all the way up and the dash warning light stays on?
