I've wondered about this, too. It would be a fantastic feature!

Well, anything is possible, but it isn't easy at all.

The Tele Aid/Mbrace works off a totally separate unit located both in the dome light and I believe under the passenger's seat. The physical buttons can be rewired to turn on your wipers if you'd like, but you would need a physical cable running to a module that would translate the button press into something your phone would understand. If you're asking whether you can do some coding and the buttons will just switch to working with the bluetooth, then the simple answer is NO. The units are COMPLETELY separate.

I had a similar question not too long ago regarding an OnStar system. My Audi was equipped with OnStar, but Audi hung us out to dry after the switch to digital in 2008 and I wanted to retrofit a digital unit in its place. In short, it doesn't work.

too bad. I push my buttons and a local cell network recording answers. It would be cool if I could program them to call on my iphone plan to preprogrammed numbers.

I believe Verizon Wireless and Tele Aid had setup a plan together where you can add a line to your plan and the number would be linked to your Tele Aid system allowing you to make and receive calls.

I don't know where you live or what cellular carrier you have, but I figured I'd let you know.
