Hesitant about aftermarket tails
I've seen several people install aftermarket eBay tail lights on their MLs. Anyone know of problems with them? Also, how watertight are they compared to OEM tails? I'd greatly appreciate any feedback

I installed mine back in 2009 and had problem with aftermarket sealings. After heavy rain SAM was wet and mulfunctioning so I had to change SAM and put original sealings between tail lights and frame. No problem since.

I have had mine installed for well over a year now with no problems, when installing you must make sure that you seat it correctly and trade off tightening the mounting screws for a proper fitment and seal. Remember do not over tourque the mounts or you will F it up.
