Will 20x10 30mm offset stick out too much?

The lowest offset I've seen for the AMG and AMG reps are ~45mm for 10" wide wheels for the ML. Anyone seen or know first hand if a 30mm offset will make the wheels stick out too much on the ML? Thanks.

I agree with this. I'm running the AMG 20x10's (et46) and the front wheels' outer rim edges are at the outer edge of the fender. Tolerable, but I wouldn't go any lower than the et46 offset. But also not enough to require the fender flares. The rear 20x10s are perfect at et46. Tires are 295/40/20. Here's a picture from my upgrade thread:
