ML350 '07 ..suddenly stalled and wont start
hi, have problem with my ML350 2007... i was warming up the engine when suddenly it went off, and when restarting the engine, nothing is happen... not even rev a bit..
got the mechanic checked and they said the ECU has gone bad (blown?)... thus need replacement which may cost est $5k ...
.... or install a reconditioned ECU at half price .....
has anyone experience similar things...? he mentioned that this problem not only happening to ML, but also to other models which share the same engine as ML350. anyone can give advice where i can get new or recond ECU? or, what shoud i do?

yup i agree had the same problem with my 03 e320. I also had to replace the camshaft position sensor soon after. Ask them what codes they scanned to tell them that the ecu is bad. The codes tell you everything
