I wanted to know if any one had the RennTeck ECU upgrade done for their 2010 ML350 and what they think about it? Also has anybody dyno a stock 2010 ML350 to see what the wheel Horse power is? I what to see what type of drivetrain loss the ML350 has.
Thanks,
Ansar

Well seeing that i have not seen any one post up will be taking the ML to my shop to get it dyno and find out what the wheel HP is. Plan on doing the K&N fliter, Renntech ECU and maybe just a axle back exhaust. I will do a 2nd dyo and see what the difference is.

please be sure and post your results. I think a lot of 350 owners will be interested.
Excited to hear the results. I'll be eagerly awaiting your results.

Yes please post your results, how much are you being charged for the tune?
Yes as soon as i get the fully stock dyno done i will post up the dyno sheet. The shop that I deal with is pretty busy so will have to see where i can jump in for a pull. I have not purchase the Renntech upgrade yet thats around $1300, I saw some other tuning software but im still researching them to see what the best bang for the buck is. I like to dyno my cars after upgrades to make sure that the air/fuel ratios are correct. Im surprise that they are not more upgrade options for the V6 model. But i guess most people that buy them dont care too much for more performance.

Here is a dyno from a C350 (scroll down). Before and after tuning with Evotech. http://dyno-comp.com/details.php?bro...owse_submit=GO

OK, I'll play. I'll say 180 at the wheels.Originally Posted by DeathBlow

Well, we will know the numbers next saturday. If the parts come in on time I will be able to do the before and after the same day.
Just so if any one who is following my thread wants to know who is doing the work and Dyno its Vinny Ten Racing 100 Dale St.West Babylon, NY 11704. Im going to be doing a Video so you guys can see how it sounds before and after.
here are the results... we were not able to get tq numbers because the reading from the sparkplug was not good going to find a better place to get the reading on the next dyno run. out of 3 runs this was the highest, there was one 1 HP difference between the 3 runs.
Steve showing off the results..lol

a lot better than I thought - I figured 4Matic would really drain HP by the time it made it from the crank to the wheels.
I have to admit I've never seen a dyno with MPH on the horizontal axis - typically it's RPM. I don't quite know how to interpret this.

I have to upload the dyno sheet it has the rpm at the bottom they were checking something and change the display. Im very suprise at the hp number i was expecting around a 20% lost because of the four wheel drive system. Once I do the upgrades will dyno it again to see the difference.
So the Filters are in and the tune is done now need to take it back to VTR and see what the improvements are. After the upgrades the truck does sound a little more meaner. So let’s see how that translates to the wheels.

Very interested in the outcome and what your total outlay ($’s) was
