2011 ML550 Wheel Question

Have a '11 ML550 with 19" AMG wheels. Was thinking about going to a 20" OEM Mercedes rim.

Question: Do you have to have anything done "computer wise" to let the vehicle know it now has 20" rims? Will it affect speedometer?

Also -Are ML & GL rims interchangeable?

Thx!

Hi, I sent you a reply elsewhere, but you can easily change from 19 to 20 with no need to change anything as long as you keep the overall diameter the same (or very close). What I did was 265/45/20 (~ maintain original 255/50/19 diameter). So it really depends on what tire you have on the 19" that you have now.
This calculator can give you an idea what will happen as you change tires...

2014 ML350 BlueTec.
Yes, no biggie.

I have 20's in the summer and 19's in the winter. I am also switching my current 265/45/20 summer tires to 275/45/20, less than 3%, so again, no big deal. I wanted a wider stance in the rear.
