Hey all, I have a 2008 ML 350 with harman kardon nav, iPod kit, phone in armrest, (puck) backup camera, SAT radio. I would like to retrofit the NTG 2.5, and need to know how to make this happen ... Thanks

You need new everything. New amp, rearview mirror, possibly backup camera, etc. It's a lot of resources to do this retrofit as I looked to do the same thing on my car and ultimately decided it's not worth it.

I don't think it is worth it to retrofit 2.5 ...You can buy aftermarket unit - check for my installation picture of Kenwood (you get everything including Garmin maps etc). Once you make decision to sell car just remove unit and put back original (10 min work). It is important to buy your own amplifier instead of rewire speakers etc.
We are speaking ~ 1,500 $ (aftermarket) vs 1,000 (NTG2.5).
