aux battery

I got white battery message (aux battery) yesterday. I am wondering if it is worth it to charge it or I just go and replace battery.

The second question: is message means that battery is dead or the voltage is too low? Usually, when one battery dies the next one is one or two months ready to go

I am going buy original MB battery and replace it by myself.

How many yrs/miles are people getting from the 2? When I let mine sit for a week or more, I hook up my Battery Tender.

Speaking from experience from all my previous cars, I think ~ 5 years (the fifth winter would be challenging to go). Due to carpet wasn't cut, it was first change for my car (year 2008).

Considering what it should be done, I'd recommend buy original battery - it is not complicated but it is not 'plug & play'
