Whistle sound coming from passanger side/ tranny

I have a 2007 ml350 it has a constant whistle at idle and up to 1500 rpm. The sound seems to be coming from the passanger side under the vehicle next to the tranny it almost seems to be coming from the tranny. It is deffinetly a whistle sound caused by air flow. Could this be a vacuum line does one go to the tranny. Please help the sound is annoying when around people. The vehicle runs great just whistles. Thanks for any help

2008 ML500, 2012 NISSAN GTR, 2008 SUBARU LEGACY GT

I had something similar (ML500) and it turned out to be the alternator, havent replaced it yet, but im relieved its not the tranny

Tranny whistle

Climbed under the car it is deffinetly coming from the tranny where it's connected to the motor the noise seems to be getting louder. Any help I would appreciate thank you
