2006 ML500 Starts, then dies and won't start
2006 ML500. Starts and idles just fine, then all of a sudden dies and will not start. Wait for a few hours and it starts again....anyone else have this problem?

Could be the fuel filter or the fuel pump itself. I'm not sure but I think the fuel pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump. It does sound like a fuel problem.

While we are on this subject, a friends ML500 W164 started and then died. It wont even crank with a jump start. The lights all work and have power to everything but wont crank. Is there a starter relay or would the fuel pump relay if faulty stop the starter from cranking? Thanks in advance
