Hmm, I was trying to switch my temp tags for regular license plates and.....the 4 threaded posts that stick out from rear hatch dont line up at all with holes that are on the license plate. What gives? is there another plate that needs to be bolted on to the hatch?

Yes, there is a metal bracket that attaches to the hatch that the plate attaches to. Be careful to use the correct length screws when attaching the plate or you will dig into the paint.
