Hello everyone,
My 2007 ML320CDI developed a problem with right brake light -bulb ok but would not turn on. After all the cleaning and bulb replacements (many times) with no avail I found a service bulletin for brake lights. I bought already the repair harness from the dealer but they don't know about the pin removal tool and they pretend they don't carry tools and don't know what it is...
Anybody can help with any info on that? The pin is square and has two locks on sides and the removal tool probably would look like very narrow tweezers...

What I did was remove the tail light and put a bead of solder at the contact points where the light bulb holder make contact with the receiver ( you should see small pits where because of poor contact it arcs) This cured my problem.
