i'm using the tune2Air by Viseeo in my 2008 ml350, but you have to have the iPod kit installed.
Works great with my G4 and iphone 5s

Are you able to do everything that the video says like see what is playing on you command screen also control the tracks with your steering wheel controls?

No doesn't show on the command screen or on the instrument cluster multifunction display.
You can change tracks using the steering wheel, but you'll have to look at ur phone to see what track is playing. it'll probably work on the newer commands (2009-2014 i think they have BT built in) I know it worked on all the loaners I've gotten from the dealer.
