2010 ML350 COMAND update for bluetooth audio streaming
Hello,
I have spent a while searching for an answer to this. I recently purchased a 2010 ML350. I want to be able to stream music over Bluetooth from my iPhone 5s. I purchased the Viseeo Tune2Air which does stream music but does not properly show the track listing on my COMAND unit when playing anything from Spotify.
I had a rental 2013 C250 in France last summer that properly displayed my Spotify tracks over bluetooth so I know it's possible. I have seen people discussing a firmware update to the COMAND system for 2010 E Class vehicles that gave them native bluetooth audio streaming. Do you know if this is available for the 2010 ML?
For reference, when I go into Engineering Mode I see the following software and firmware versions:
BT Software: 2.0036.10
BT Firmware: 2.0038.11
BT Hardware: 2.0038.11

Did you figure this out? I just bought a 2010 ml, I can connect to Bluetooth for phone calls but can't figure out how to stream audio.
