2006 ML500 Transmission - Conductor Plate?
After stopping @ light tranny would get stuck in 1st or 2nd gear upon accelerating. Need to stop and turn off/on ignition to get unstuck.
Couple of questions: I live in Bay Area , CA, have 86K on vehicle.
1) Have dealers fixed this even though car is out of warranty?
2) What part or kit (PN:000-270-17-00) is required to fix problem? Is it only dealer item , can't sell to local garage?
3) Any idea on cost of parts and labor for this?
Was thinking of getting the parts from the dealer and have my local mechanic put it in? Good idea?
