iPod Interface

This is confusing as heck. What do you use in your '09?

iPod mini
iPod nano
iPod G4
iPod G5
?

I'm finally ready to get this part going and need it to interface on the command screen as i want to plug in the iPod and leave it in the glove box hooked up.

Thanks!

I've got a '10 550 and use the iPod Classic in the glove box, works like a champ. I was discouraged a bit by the fact that the SD slot in the dash has a max working capacity of only 2 gig. When you've got 30+ gig of music and use the iPod in the house as well, you move it back and forth a lot.
