Any recommendations on 2007 ML 350 Tires?

All road travel (except for one trip down the beach roads at the Outer Banks finding a shipwreck!)....currently using Michelin Primacy MXV4...was thinking about moving to the Michelin Lattitudes as they are a bit cheaper.

Have been very happy w the Michelins vs the Contis that came w the vehicle...those wore out like banana skins and had high road noise.

Any steer from MBworld members welcome!

Continental DWS

The Continental DWS is Just enough of a snow tire to work when you need it, but still smooth enough for road use without the noise and vibration of full on snows. If you need full-on snow tires, like if you live in a mountain state, then by all means get them. If you live in the south or southern California, and have zero need for snow capability, then get something suited for those climates. I live in the Seattle area, and travel several times a year to eastern Washington. Conti DWS get me over Snoqualmie Pass in the winter, and allow me to get around on most surface streets adequately.

You could check out Pirelli Scorpion Verde as well (the sport ones.) I have those and have enjoyed them. They came with the car and seem to work great. I'm getting close to needing a new set and thinking about replacing with the same ones.

AVOID the pirellis scorpion verdes! We could not get more then 20k miles out of them before they began to cup and vibrate and make humming noise. I have always been adamant about top quality tires like Michelins and I bought the Latitude Tour HP and they are far better. Smoother, quieter, comfortable, longer lasting then the cheaper Pirellis. They have 25k miles right now and I can go for another 30-35k. I had these on my 2006 and 2010 Ml350s too.

I haven't experienced anything close to the same issues you've had with yours. This is my first experience with these tires and they seem fine to me, except for the expected miles.

Sounds like the Michelin's can get about 60k which is what I'd like to get from my next set. 30k just isn't enough.

I was also told the Pirelli all-season Scorpion can get 60k but I don't like the look of the all-season tire that much.
