Which SD Card???
I'd like to use the SD card as a music source in my 2011 ML. I'd like to get a 32 GB card so i can store all of the music I have on iTunes. Is there a specific card that is compatible with the sound system in the ML or can I use any SD card (ie, any size)? Is anyone using the SD card as a music source?

I have used Sandisk Ultra (15MBs, and 30MB/s) and Extreme SDHC cards (30MB/s and 80MB/s) with no problem. I don't think faster than 15MB/s makes any difference to the performance, but don't have numbers to back that up. I even used a very cheap generic 4GB SD card for audiobooks.
What I would point out is that there is a limit to the number of songs that can be recognized by the system. I found many songs on my 32GB library card didn't show in the selection list. My MY 2010 COMAND manual states a maximum of 255 folders with 255 songs, but with a total track limit of 1200. I think I get much more, but you would probably be disappointed with a full 32GB SD card. I now use a 16GB card. It is easy to have several smaller cards and switch them.
Don't forget you can move some of your favorite music to the Music Register/Hard Disk.
I also used 8.5GB Dual Layer DVD disks for MP3 music in my S Class, and that worked well. It had the same problem with a disappointingly low maximum track count on my Transcend 32GB PCMCIA/Compact Flash card. Just a bit slower when change disks.

On my recent trip I just realized there are several diagonal SD card storage slots under the console lid at the front for spare cards. Easy to miss, just like the parking ticket holder in between the two front cup holders.
