I can't seem to find any used 2009-2011 ML550 with both Airmatic and ventilated seats. I have found one with Airmatic only on the popular used car sites.
Was there no ventilated seats option available back then? All the 63s always have both options.

ventilated seats were considered a "special order", not simply an option. A buyer had to know where/how to find what features were available as "special order" since these weren't typically listed for the public to see (and even some sales people were somewhat ignorant of). Adding to the fact that ventilated seats were sort of an unknown feature, is the fact that actual ventilation is very poorly executed and the air that is circulated is merely cabin air - not A/C. This is easily the least effective feature I have on my 2011 - followed closely by the Navigation system.
AMGs include most/all factory options, as well as many special order items - contributing to what makes them so exclusive.

Thanks, makes sense now with the special order issue.
I have the ventilated seats option in my E and am quite happy with it. It's enough air flow for me - not as cool as my wife's caddi seats which are too cool for me.
